What is the difference between international Webinterpret listings and domestic listings?
An international Webinterpret listing refers to any listing created by Webinterpret through our Localisation service. A domestic listing is defined as any listing not produced by Webinterpret and appearing in your domestic market.
How long is the free trial period?
The free trial period is 30 days (for eBay and Amazon marketplaces) and includes access to our Localisation service.
Up to 50% of your eligible listings will be localised and placed on international eBay and/or Amazon marketplaces (United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, France and Spain). For eBay, the number of listings may depend on your eBay store subscription. For Amazon, no more than 100 listings per site will be localised.
How do success fees and transaction fees work?
Success fees are charged as a percentage of sales generated by the listings created by Webinterpret. Sellers with over 50% of their products in the technology hardware category may benefit from a lower success fee of 2.9%.
Transaction fees are charged as a fixed amount for each transaction generated by listings created by Webinterpret.
Specified success and transaction fees for Starter and Business plan subscribers apply only to international orders generated by Webinterpret.
Are there any site, service, or marketplace limitations?
Localisation service: Available eBay sites include Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada (EN and FR), eBay Motors, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Singapore, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States. The eBay sites in Belgium and Austria require activation by Webinterpret Support on request and may result in fewer zero-insertion-fee listings. Available Amazon sites include France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom.

How do I know if my items need to be compliant with the GPSR?
The GPSR applies to all non-food consumer products sold in the EU that are not already covered by specific EU directives or regulations. This includes both offline and online sales, as well as new and second-hand products. Examples of product categories that are not subject to the GPSR include Medical Devices, Food and Food Products, Pharmaceuticals, and Antiques.
Which information do I need to provide to Webinterpret for my listings to be GPSR compliant?
Webinterpret gathers and suggests GPSR data for your products when it’s available within our database. If GPSR data is already available on your domestic listings, Webinterpret will copy and translate your GPSR documentation to your international Webinterpret listings. In the event that GPSR data is not available for your products, you will need to provide us with the remaining information and data that is required for full compliance.
What are the conditions for Webinterpret to act as my EU Responsible Person?
Webinterpret can be appointed as your Responsible Person within the EU, provided that your products comply with the GPSR regulation, are vetted by our team, and follow Webinterpret’s Terms of Use.
Which channels and marketplaces is Webinterpret’s GPSR compliance solution available for?
Currently, Webinterpret’s Compliance solution can only be connected directly to eBay to publish GPSR data suggestions for your items.
You can use GPSR Compliance with other online selling channels as well (Amazon, Shopify, Magento, Woocommerce, Fruugo, Walmart, CDiscount, Etsy). Based on your compliance needs, this requires importing and/or exporting your inventory to/from Webinterpret’s Compliance Dashboard.
